Man dies in Vic industrial accident

A man has died in an industrial accident at a Melbourne factory.

Victorian police say the man, aged in his 40s, was crushed when a vertical paper stacker fell at the factory in Campbellfield on Friday morning.

A police spokeswoman said it's unclear when the accident happened.

The stacker fell some time between 8.30am and 9.40am, she said.

Police and the Victorian Workcover Authority are investigating and will prepare a report for the coroner.
