A Victorian woman died when her ute slammed into a tree less than 24 hours after a man was killed when the utility he was driving - with his identical twin in the passenger seat - plunged into a creek.
The woman died in Pomonal, northwest of Melbourne shortly after 4pm on Saturday, police said.
The man's body was retrieved from the creek in Bunyip, southeast of the city about 4am after his vehicle rolled down an embankment late on Friday night.

Media reports identified the driver as 22-year-old Mark Lewis.
His twin brother, Dale, scrambled from the vehicle and called triple-zero.
He suffered minor injuries, police said.
