Victorian driver killed while overtaking

A man is dead after his vehicle crashed into a parked car while he was trying to overtake another vehicle in Melbourne.

The man aged in his 40s was attempting to overtake another car in Hampton when his vehicle crashed into a parked car on Tuesday night, Victoria Police say.

The driver died at the scene.
