Pedestrian, 85, dies after Melb bike crash

An 85-year-old pedestrian has died in hospital after being hit by a cyclist in Melbourne.
The man was walking a pedestrian crossing in St Kilda on Tuesday evening when he was hit by a cyclist riding in the bicycle lane.
The elderly man died overnight and the 30-year-old Port Melbourne cyclist was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
