A man is dead after smashing head-on into a truck, one of two men to die on Victoria's roads in a day.
Police believe a Toyota Hilux veered on to the wrong side of the road, colliding with a truck on the Midland Highway at Goorong, northeast of Bendigo, about 1.45pm on Friday.
The Toyota driver was the only one in his car and died at the scene, while the truck driver was flown to a Melbourne hospital in a serious condition.
