Man dead after fight in regional Victoria

A man has died at the scene of a street brawl in regional Victoria and another man is in custody.

Homicide detectives will investigate after a 20-year-old man died from a head injury during the fight at Swan Hill.

Emergency services were called to the fight on Campbell Street about 1.15am on Saturday.

A 40-year-old man is in custody being interviewed by police.

Campbell Street between Pritchard and McCallum Streets has been closed and any witnesses are being asked to come forward.
