Man dies after being pulled from the water at Phillip Island beach

A man has died after being pulled from the water on Victoria's Phillip Island.
It is understood passersby pulled an unresponsive man from the water at Surf Beach about 1.10pm today.
CPR was performed on the man, however, he died at the scene.

He is yet to be formally identified.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
