Man charged with murder in Victoria

A man has been charged with murdering a woman whose body was found in a regional Victorian home last month.
Police were called to the house in Traralgon, east of Melbourne, on April 14, where they found a woman in her 60s dead and an injured man who was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
A Traralgon man, 65, has now been charged with one count of murder and on Thursday he faced the Morwell Magistrates Court where he was remanded in custody to reappear on September 1.
