Man charged with attempted murder after alleged stabbing in Geelong

A man has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed another man in the Geelong suburb of Whittington.
Police were called to Irwin Court about 7.30pm on Monday, September 23 after a 47-year-old man was found in the street with stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A 30-year-old man from North Geelong has since been charged with his attempted murder, and with intentionally causing serious injury.
He is now in police custody, and will appear at Geelong Magistrates Court on September 30.
