Man charged over Vic spitting incident

A Melbourne man has been charged with assault following an incident in which a fast food worker was spat on at a drive through.
It's alleged an angry customer spat on the teenage girl after an argument erupted at the Essendon food outlet on January 13, getting his saliva on her face and in her mouth.
A 25-year-old Coburg man has since been charged with unlawful assault, aggravated assault of a female and unlicensed driving.

He has been bailed to appear at the Broadmeadows Magistrates Court on April 6.
