Man charged over Vic ram raids

A homeless man will face court accused of two ram raids at a Melbourne sports store.

The 24-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday after he threatened a security guard at an Essendon shopping centre around 2.30am.

He will face the Melbourne Magistrates Court shortly where police will allege the man rammed a car into the front of a Bulla Road shop in the early hours of Sunday and Monday before stealing clothes.
