Man charged over Vic crash

A man has been charged over a car crash in country Victoria that killed his 18-year-old male passenger.

A 23-year-old Hawthorn East man has been charged with culpable driving, dangerous driving causing death, reckless conduct endangering a person, and reckless conduct endangering serious injury over the fatal crash near Shepparton on Monday night.

He has been bailed to appear at the Shepparton Court on Wednesday afternoon.
