Man charged over Melbourne sex assault

A man has been charged with sexually assaulting and stalking a woman in her 60s as she walked along a Melbourne trail.

The Doncaster man is accused of attacking the woman on the Koonung Creek Trail about 6pm on March 17.

The 26-year-old was arrested and charged on Monday and was bailed to appear in the Ringwood Magistrates Court in January.
