A man has been charged with 20 offences after a stolen truck was used in an eight-hour crime spree across Melbourne's north.
The 47-year-old was arrested outside Epping Police Station on Wednesday night almost eight hours after he allegedly stole a truck, collided with multiple cars and attempted a carjacking across the suburbs of Roxburgh Park, Preston and Lalor, police said.
The South Morang man will appear in Heidelberg Magistrates Court on September 5 charged with offences including motor vehicle theft, conduct endangering life, carjacking and resisting arrest.
