Man charged over country Victoria murder

A man has been charged over the murder of a 59-year-old man in his country Victorian home.

The man was found dead at his Warragul home on Wednesday, after police responded to reports of a man being seriously injured.

A 26-year-old Warragul man was interviewed by detectives on Friday and charged with murder.

He will appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court later on Friday.
