Man charged after video of Vic train fight

A man has been charged with assault and a V/Line train conductor has been stood down pending an investigation after violent scenes at a Victorian train station.
The 46-year-old Croydon man allegedly assaulted a woman on a train at Broadford railway station on Saturday and when the conductor confronted him a fight spilled onto the platform.
In a video uploaded on Facebook, the uniformed conductor can be seen punching and kicking the man.

Footage of the incident has been viewed online more than 41,000 times.
V/Line has stood down the conductor while the matter is investigated.
"V/Line is assisting Victoria Police with its investigation," a spokesman told AAP.
Train staff have been offered counselling.
