Man charged after Melbourne terror siege

A Melbourne man has been charged in connection to the fatal Brighton siege which left a man dead and three officers seriously injured.
Following a series of raids across Melbourne on Friday, a man from Ascot Vale in Melbourne's north west was charged with prohibited person in possession of firearm and committing an indictable offence while on bail.
The 30-year-old man appeared at an out of sessions court hearing and will appear in Melbourne Magistrate's Court on Saturday.
