Man charged after allegedly using tomahawk to make threats during attack on Melbourne speed camera operator
A man has been charged after a speed camera operator was allegedly threatened with a tomahawk in Melbourne's west last month.
The 53-year-old man has been charged over his alleged involvement in three separate incidents across two months.
The man was arrested shortly after police executed a search warrant at a property on Blackshaws Road in South Kingsville this morning.

Police said the first incident involved the man allegedly splashing white paint over a mobile traffic camera on the same road on December 4.
A month later on January 25, the man allegedly approached another vehicle on Civic Parade in Altona on a bike before verbally abusing the operator, spitting on the window and punching the driver's side mirror.
It's alleged the man returned an hour later and splashed white paint over the vehicle and threatened the operator with a tomahawk.
The South Kingsville man has been charged with criminal damage, abusing a road safety camera operator, threatening a road safety camera operator, threatening to inflict serious injury, possessing a dangerous article and other offences.
He is expected to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court today.
