Man attempts to grab girl in country Vic

Police are investigating a report of an attempted child abduction in country Victoria.

Police say a man made several attempts to offer a 14-year-old girl a ride home in Riddles Creek on Monday afternoon and when she declined, he opened the car door and reached out to grab her arm.

The girl slapped the man's hand away, screamed and ran off.
