Man granted bail following alleged sexual assault in Melbourne

A man accused of stalking and sexually assaulting a woman on a Melbourne street has been released on bail.

Luke Croxford, 27, was wearing a mask and hood when he allegedly followed and attacked a woman on Sydney Road in Brunswick.

Mr Croxford was arrested following the alleged attack on February 7 this year.

The Melbourne Magistrates' Court today heard the 30-year-old victim hadn't been able to return to the scene since the ordeal.
