Man arrested after Vic police chase

A man has been arrested after a high-speed chase on the wrong side of the main freeway between Melbourne and Geelong.
Police say a 27-year-old man fled the scene of a crash between a stolen car he was driving and a truck before he stole another car from a woman on Wednesday morning.
Witness Aaron told 3AW he was subsequently forced to get out of the way as the alleged thief sped towards him on the wrong side of the Princes Freeway.

The 27-year-old was eventually intercepted and arrested.
