Machinegun seized in Melb raid on gang

A machinegun and police uniforms are among items uncovered in a police raid that has landed three members of a Melbourne bikie gang with weapons and drugs charges.
Searches in Melbourne's southeastern suburbs as part of Operation Anorexigenic - which is targeting the Mongols Outlaw Motorcycle Gang - on Thursday allegedly found the machinegun, ammunition, drugs, police uniforms and prohibited weapons.
Three men, two 29 and from Bentleigh East and a 26-year-old from Narre Warren, have been charged.

A police spokeswoman told 3AW on Friday morning the task force name was chosen to suppress the appetite of the gang.
