Machete-wielding man breaks into Vic home

A balaclava-clad man stormed into a Victorian house and threatened three women with a machete before stealing a handbag.

The man forced his way into the Morwell home at 8pm on Sunday and made off with the handbag, which contained money, a phone and medication.

The three victims, a woman aged in her 50s and two teenage girls, were not injured, and police are searching for the culprit.
