Fire has destroyed a two-storey family home in Narre Warren, in Melbourne's south-east, causing the roof to collapse.
Country Fire Authority firefighters were called to the blaze in Carmen Court at about 12.20pm and arrived to find the house engulfed in flames.
CFA crews from Narre Warren North, Narre Warren, Dandenong, Hallam, Scoresby and Casey Group attended the fire to bring it under control.
"We've sent nine CFA trucks including the ladder platform due to the size of the two storey house which is completely involved by fire," CFA Operations Officer Paul Summons said.
Nobody was in the house at the time of the fire.
The cause of the blaze is unknown and authorities are investigating.
