Long delays ahead after trains were suspended in Melbourne's west

Residents are facing a long commute home tonight after train services were suspended in Melbourne's west.
A "track fault" suspended VLine services on the Geelong and Ballarat lines between Southern Cross, Sunshine and Wyndham Vale for hours this afternoon.
Vision obtained by 9News shows the extent of the delays, as hundreds of commuters gathered to catch bus replacements at Sunshine Station.

Passengers were told to take the Sunbury line to Sunshine and transfer to 14 regional buses.
Delays are expected to continue into the evening.
