Liquor store worker stabbed in Melbourne

A liquor store worker has been stabbed multiple times by balaclava-clad men who stormed a Melbourne store armed with knives and a fake gun.

Three men stormed the shop in Cranbourne North on Tuesday night, stabbing a male staff member multiple times in the upper body and assaulting another staff member who received minor facial injuries, police say.

The offenders, who are yet to be identified, fled empty handed and police later found an imitation firearm at the scene.
