Knives used to hold up Melbourne Macca's

Knives have been held to the throats of teenage McDonald's workers during a terrifying armed robbery in Melbourne.

Customers watched in horror as four men, with their faces covered, robbed the Malvern East outlet on Sunday night, Victoria Police said on Tuesday.

No one was injured but 3AW reports the offenders jumped onto the counter and held knives to the throats of teenage staff members.
