Melbourne will become the home of pukka tucker as Jamie Oliver's mobile kitchen rolls into town.

The 15-metre-long Ministry of Food kitchen will call Melbourne's Princes Park home for 10 weeks from July 13, with a five-week cooking course costing $100.

About 550 Melburnians will get the chance to dump their bad eating habits to learn to cook fresh, healthy recipes devised by the celebrity chef.
