Italian man in Melbourne cannabis bust

An Italian man is due to face a Melbourne court after allegedly being busted by police with more than 70 cannabis plants and a stack of cash.
Officers arrested the 55-year-old at a Bentleigh East home on Wednesday morning and have charged him with trafficking, cultivating and possessing cannabis, and possessing proceeds of crime.
He has been remanded in custody to appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday.
