It's one all in the Australian Boat Race

The Melbourne-Sydney rivalry has been fought out on the Yarra River as university rowing teams competed in the 2015 Australian Boat Race.

On a blustery Melbourne morning, hundreds of spectators lined the banks of the Yarra on Sunday to watch the teams, from Sydney and Melbourne University, battle it out in the 4.6km race.

Melbourne's women's team and Sydney's men's team were victorious in the historic rowing event, which has been run since 1870.

Sydney's men's team took the trophy from Melbourne after being beaten last year, but Melbourne's women's team has been unbeaten since 2010.
