Intern chemist guilty of drug theft in Vic

A former intern pharmacist has been ordered to do 150 hours of community work for stealing drugs from a Melbourne chemist.

Shadi Kazeme, 28, who stole human growth hormone and weight loss drugs from her former employer, South Yarra's Como Compounding Pharmacy, and has pleaded guilty to one count each of theft and attempted theft.

In the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, Kazeme was convicted and handed a 15-month community corrections order with 150 hours of community work to complete in that time for the crimes from February 2014 to June last year.
