Young child hit by car after getting off bus in Victorian town
A primary school aged child has life-threatening injuries after he stepped off a bus and was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
Emergency services including Ambulance Victoria paramedics were called to Heyfield in regional Victoria about 3.45pm following reports a young boy was in distress.

He was flown to Melbourne.
Ambulance Victoria said the child appears to be in a critical condition.
