Man arrested in Vic good Samaritan bashing

A man has been arrested over a violent attack on a woman in a Melbourne retail store.
A good Samaritan who came to the aid of a Coburg shop assistant was viciously bashed last month by a man who stole her phone and later smashed it.
The 51-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested in Moonee Ponds on Friday and is being interviewed by police.
