Girl critical after electric shock in Vic

One young girl is fighting for life and another has serious injuries after they received a shock from a power tool in regional Victoria.

It's believed the girls picked up a power tool at a property in Numurkah, near Shepparton, on Sunday afternoon and suffered an electric shock.

One of the girls was flown to the Royal Children's Hospital in a critical condition after receiving CPR at the scene, and the other - who received an electrical burn - was taken to the Goulburn Valley Base Hospital in Shepparton in a serious but stable condition.
