Girl, 4, dies in Victorian pier accident

A four-year-old girl has died after an accident at a Victorian pier.

The girl died at the scene after the incident at Inverloch, southeast of Melbourne, shortly after 9.30am on Friday, police said.

The circumstances around the death are still being investigated, but it's not being treated as suspicious.
