GetUp! trying to stop Manus return op

Activist group GetUp! are trying to prevent authorities from returning a man to Australia's immigration detention centre on Papua New Guinea's Manus Island.

Protesters at Melbourne airport have blocked the vehicle transporting the refugee to an aircraft, GetUp! said on its Twitter feed on Tuesday.

Victoria police are trying to move the protesters' vans, the Seven Network reported.
