Funeral ashes taken in Vic trailer theft

Thieves have made off with a camper trailer with an urn containing the ashes of the owner's late daughter in Melbourne's southeast.

The black trailer, which contained a number of personal items including the urn was being used to travel the country, police say.

The alleged theft happened sometime between 10.30pm on January 9 and 7.30am on January 10 from the driveway of the home at Centre Road in Clarinda.
