Fourth person charged over Vic dad's death

A fourth person has been charged over the alleged murder of a Victorian father whose body was found in a shallow grave on the Mornington Peninsula.

A 46-year-old Elwood woman has been charged with the murder and false imprisonment of 39-year-old Jade Goodwin in October last year.

Brendan McDowall, 52, Shane Heiberg, 34, and Natalie Dalton, 36 were previously charged with murdering Mr Goodwin at Hastings five days before his body was discovered at a Tyabb property.

The 46-year-old Elwood woman has been remanded to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

McDowall, Heiberg and Dalton are due to return to court for a committal hearing on June 13.
