Fourth man faces court over Vic gang rape

A fourth man will face court charged with the gang rape of a 14-year-old girl in Geelong.

A 27-year-old man from Geelong will appear before Melbourne Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with rape and abduction.

The man, from Corio in Geelong's north, was arrested on Tuesday afternoon after he handed himself into police over the alleged attack on the teenage girl in St Albans Park on November 1.

The girl was sexually assaulted twice by a violent, drunken gang of men after they found her and her 16-year-old male friend sitting in St Albans Park after leaving a nearby party.

Two brothers from Melbourne's suburbs have been remanded in custody over the attack, with a third man - a relative of the brothers - also in custody after he was extradited from Queensland.
