Four Taiwanese men have appeared in court facing charges arising from one of Australia's largest seizures of the drug ice.

Australian Federal Police officers seized suitcases from an inner city Melbourne apartment in July last year, which allegedly contained about 135 kilograms of the drug.

The haul had an estimated street value of $130 million.

Two of the men, Shu Yi Lin, 20, and Li Ping Chen, 23, pleaded guilty to trafficking a commercial quantity of the drug when they attended the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday.

They were remanded to appear at the County Court of Victoria in April.

The other two men, Chun Lan, 28, and Ming Hsuan Ou, 23, also faced court charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of the drug.

They are yet to enter pleas because their hearing was delayed when a brawl in another courtroom forced the closure of one of the court's busiest floors.

Their hearing will continue in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
