Five evacuated after Melbourne house fire

Five people have been safely evacuated after a house went up in flames in Melbourne's west.
A smoke alarm alerted the adults and children at the Harkness home, near Melton, just before 8pm Thursday.
Paramedics attended but there were no physical injuries. Investigators will attend on Friday to determine the cause.
