Firefighter injured in suspicious Melbourne building blaze

A firefighter was injured after a suspicious fire tore through an office building in Port Melbourne this morning.
Sixteen fire crews were called to the Waterfront Place building about 1.30am.
The building, believed to contain offices and a vacant gymnasium, was quickly engulfed by fire.

Firefighters managed to get the blaze under control about 3.30am.
One firefighter suffered a minor injury during the fire and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
Victoria Police believe the fire was suspicious and are now investigating.
