Fire tears through two-storey home in Ashburton

The rear of a home in Ashburton, in Melbourne, has been gutted by fire.
Melbourne Fire Brigade (MFB) crews were called to the property on Chamberlain Street around 8.25am this morning to find the rear of the two-storey house alight.

More than 20 firefighters worked for 40 minutes to contain flames on the ground floor of the home.
No one was injured in the fire.
Investigations into the cause of blaze are ongoing.
