Fake racing job scam targeting immigrants

Immigrants are being offered fake jobs in the Australian horse racing industry, with some handing over money for jobs authorities say don't exist.

Racing Victoria contacted Victoria Police after receiving complaints of a company falsely claiming to act as a broker between horse stables and job seekers.

Police on Wednesday said the company behind the online scam does not provide any services, and urge job seekers to report scams when they see them.
