A hearing is set to continue on Thursday for a former Muslim cleric accused of marrying off a child bride.
Ibrahim Omerdic is fighting claims he solemnised or intended to solemnise the marriage of the girl and a 34-year-old man. The "marriage" was not subsequently formalised under Australian law.
Omerdic was an imam of the Bosnian Islamic Society and Noble Park Mosque, but was sacked after his November arrest and his marriage celebrant licence was revoked.
