A man has been released from police custody following the death of a woman in an Melbourne home on Tuesday night.
Authorities found the 22-year-old with severe injuries inside the Endeavour Hills property just after 9pm.
The man, also aged 22, was suffering minor injuries.
The woman died at the scene, while the man was taken to hospital.
He was discharged several hours later and immediately arrested, however tonight police said the woman’s death has been deemed not suspicious and he has been released.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
