Eleven arrested in Melbourne raids
Eleven people have been arrested and guns, swords, drugs and a luxury convertible seized following police raids in Melbourne's northwest.
Police raided nine properties in Fawkner, Campbellfield, Brunswick West, Coburg, Pascoe Vale, Hadfield, Sunshine and Keilor on Wednesday morning, following an investigation into alleged drug and firearms trafficking.
Seven men and four women, aged between 27 and 53-years-old, were arrested and charged with a range of drug and firearms offences.
Police seized a range of weapons and ammunition from the properties, including 11 guns, tasers, swords and two ballistic vests, as well as a kilo of ice, more than $190,000 in cash and an Audi R8, worth more than $150,000.
They also took equipment used to make drugs and fake IDs.
