Elderly woman punched in head at Melb park

An elderly woman has been punched in the head by a disgruntled dog owner at a Melbourne park.

The 75-year-old woman was walking her dog off the leash when it approached a poodle at a Carnegie park on June 23, police said on Sunday.

The poodle's male owner asked if her dog was registered before verbally abusing her and punching her in the head.
