Elderly woman dies in Vic crash

A woman in her 80s has died after she lost control of her car and crashed head on with another vehicle in regional Victoria.

The woman crossed onto the wrong side of the road near Moutajup on Tuesday night and collided with a ute travelling in the opposite direction, police say.

The woman died at the scene and the driver of the ute, a man in his 50s, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
