Drunk driver blows three times the limit

A man's been caught drink driving almost three times over the legal alcohol limit in Melbourne.

Police were called to a pub early on Sunday morning after reports that an alcohol-affected man had left in his car.

They intercepted a 45-year-old Croydon North man at a nearby hotel.

The man provided a preliminary breath test result of 0.149.

His licence was immediately suspended and he is expected to be charged on summons.
